Poem -

O Death, Do Not Remember Me

O Death, Do Not Remember Me

You rejected me when I yearned for you,
you broke me when you sent me away.
I fell to my knees in quiet despair,
head bowed as tears flowed like a river
taking my pain and anguish to the Sea.

I pleaded with you to take me
from the torment in my mind,
I thought you were the solution,
but then you gave me back --
Then my self was nowhere to be found.

Seven years and seven, homeless as a ghost,
I searched the wilderness of humanity
for the self I did not know,
until a day of vision
when an arrow pierced my Heart
beaming Love in all its beauty, awakening my mind.

He took me in His sweet embrace,
caressing my wounded Soul,
dancing with my Spirit and singing me to life,
revealing His Divinity
so I would always know.

So now O Death, do not remember me.
I thank you for your greatness,
but no longer do I yearn,
for The Beloved has baked and burned me
in the eternal fire of Love.
He set me free sweet Death,
to be my self and me.

From despair to finding love.Β
Sent by Him from above.
Desperation lives in Hell.
But you with Him chose to dwell.Β
