Old Oak Tree

One of natures beautiful sights to see
is a great big well shaped old oak tree.
With long strong roots hugging the ground
and a large canopy of green as a crown
It's limbs are stretched out long
welcoming doves and robins to build a home.
With shade that provides the weary traveler a place to rest
and upper branches that provide a place for squirrels to nest.
With a board and rope the children can use it as a swing
making it a useful and happy thing.
To see the tree  against a blue sky back ground is a beautiful sight
and is usually an artist's delight.
