ON THE WINGS OF A PRAYER
May there be some rays of sunshine
To brighten your sad day
Some winds of encouragement
To push dark clouds away
A rainbow of His promise
That comes after the tears
The sound of tranquil streams
To calm your fears
May your spirit be lifted
On the wings of a prayer
May you feel God's love
And His tender mercies there
May He hold each tear that falls
Hold you close and never part
Whisper words of comfort
And bring healing to your heart
