optimistic anticipation

The festive season's over, The partying is now done,

The first day arrives as the new year's begun.

The bank accounts low at the start the year,

With a credit card bill, Soon to appear.

Now we have to go forward as we wonder what's in store,

As we start the first week of hopefully more.

Trepidation ensues of what lies ahead,

But we just need to be positive, And keep a clear head.

Let's make it a good one to look back on in time,

When our live's were together and everyone's fine.

We need to be happy throughout this year,

As we cherish the friendships with those we hold dear.

Try not to be discouraged by the odd bad event,

Cherish each moment that's  been heaven sent.

Everyone is special, We all need to feel love,

As we hold our friends tight, Within a Kit glove.

Each new day's an adventure with excitement in store,

When we look forward together and hope for lot's more.
