Orchestral Intonation

Orchestral Intonation

By the rhythm
of her breathing
I found myself
sinking
ever deeper
in her embrace

Caressing
her face
in tune
with her grace
the closer I got
the harder
my heart raced

Praying
this moment
would last
I cast a glance
and held
her image
recording
the essence
of her visage

And
with the
precision
of a
musician
bringing melody
to fruition
we composed
an act of love
sweeter
than any
orchestral intonation
