"Our Bonds Will Never Sever"

"We are dancers by day,
and soldiers by night.
Our rhythmic movements,
are trailed by light,
and when the Sun falls,
our armor is our faith,
and it is stark white.

Addiction is our enemy.
We could probably all say,
'Those drugs were such,
a good friend to me.'
But that is a lie,
no matter how we try,
they are not alive,
and hold no sentiment,
on their damage.
They only wish us to die.

So you dancers dance!
Twirl your rhythmic movements,
of light all around.
Give the hope you hold in your hands,
to fallen soldiers,
that are stuck in quicksand.

May our bonds never sever,
may they be held together,
by glorious angel feathers,
for they are our tethers,
beams connecting us,
through God's Light,
such a powerful cycle of love,
that helps us each day,
to continue to fight."
