Have you seen the sky at night

The distant stars all shining bright

Have you stood and looked in awe

At all the wonders and much more

Have you seen a springtime dream

Where trees stand tall in newborn green

Flowers peep from beneath the earth

And all of Mother Nature awaits rebirth

Summer sun and drowsy bees

A profusion of flowers in copse and lea

Flamboyant colours and butterflies

A long hot day that never dies

Then comes autumn and with it weaves

Russet colours and falling leaves

Golden days their warmth near spent

The last rose of summer head now bent

Now glimpse a winter wonderland

Trees dressed in white so proud and grand

Sparkling frost and cold sharp air

Your world and mine to love and share
