Overcame

I try to exspess how I feel,
but now I realize those feeling are no longer real.
You're starting to annoy me,
now I feel set free.
Thanks to the poetry you've read,
this love is now dead.
I'm no longer confused,
I'm happy poetry was the proper tool used.
But I still long for you,
yes it's true.
But oh well, it's over now,
and this is how:
we were together,
then we whithered,
I shed a few tears,
but now there's no more fears,
I fought for you,
I stared to loose half way through,
but now I realize the simple truth,
these are only the feelings felt in silly youth.
No more feeling blue,
because now I'm over you.

Hey! Liked this very much, love the hopelessness of young romance and unrequited love ( a poetic subject even without your clever use of poetry as a subject). Well done!!
Thanks a lot! I sent my poem "Ethan" to my ex and I got him a little mad since he thinks I'm trying to guilt trip him back into dating me and I got annoyed. So I wrote this as a poetic relief.

if he were my ex i would have been like "its not a trick to get you to feel guilty, its how i express what im feeling, so it is not my problem if you feel guilty after reading this. im just glad i got to express myself." and i would just end my communication with him there.
