The Passenger

The train is late but I still can't wait to see him again
Whistle blows and the tracks screech with a stop
So many aboard, many hats, coats, faces unknown
I'm seated by the window, next to a younger man
He strikes up a coversation right away, then kisses my hand
Introduces himself as the Count, says he is heading to London
I am so very tired need to catch a nap, while I am sleeping
I am seeing this young man in a cape, dark tall hat, then suddenly
He meets me in a London fog day, with a carriage awaiting he wants me to stay
Such a gentleman, distinguished, and a marvel personality
We go out to a bistro and have a delightful visit, sip on some wine
Now he begins to tell me his story of the Barren and Countess, from his past
At last it is becoming dusk, he encourages me to stay over at the castle of Drake
Now my mind starts to skip a beat with my heart as I find myself falling in love
We approach the castle gates, the moon is bold and intense, now he turns to face me
Gives me a kiss, then suddenly he swoops his cape over in a panick I feel his fangs
Into my neck as he takes every breath away, I feel the desire to share, his eyes aglare
Take me away on a rondevu romance, of lust and passion of the warmth of our bodies
The passenger I've met is the vampire of the night he has taken my soul and now we must part
I'll take the next train back home tomorrow morning, knowing my shame will never regain
And my true love once is only a memory, my blood now thrives, for Count Drake until we pass again
As I feel his possession I am challenged by his obsession, now in my dreams I be obsessed
By the blood that is on fire within my soul I long to see him, the passenger next to my neck be it so kissed
