The Pen

The Pen

As I lay my pen to rest

In another life I do invest

A life of silence

Loneliness

No tales to tell

No sins confessed

No wish to wish

No dreams to live

No sound advice

I often give

Mind a blank

No thinking deep

Don’t worry guys

I was just asleep

Wide awake

Mind goes mad

Full of words

Where’s my pad

Words start flowing

Start my book

Pick up my pen

Out of luck

Set my stall

Rub my eyes

Flamin Hell

Inks gone dry
