Philosophical Ponderings- 7

Philosophical Ponderings- 7

Is Joy a mask for sorrow,

does it only come after pain,

when sorrows have been resolved,

and Joy Burst forth again?

In joy, sorrow can be resurfaced,

but In Sorrow, hope and joy shine through.

So what, I ask, Is one to do,

If Joy is tainted by sorrow,

And sorrow Leads to Joy?

And the cycle goes on and on.

Is there any way out?

Or are we stuck in an ever decreasing circle?

Dude!! ~ I totally LOVE the way you delve into the philosophical....... ever-questioning.....I can't imagine what amazing accomplishment you'll have coming your way if you stay this course!!.....A LOT of your stuff has this philosophical questioning and reasoning to it!!...... and it's delivered with poetic prose...... and a very sharp sense of timing......LOVE it!!.... one other thing......I just discovered this morning....... that you had gone back to my very second poem on Cosmo from 2014 about a "CITY TREE"........I can't tell you how much that meant to me......I have been working on different versions of that poem since 1984 when I was a young man...... your comment about desiring to experience actually "being" that tree was profoundly moving as that was my own original inspiration......I will be following you more closely from this day forward & commenting on some of your old stuff....... with your permission of course......I Thank You friend....... your cyber-friend and admirer......T xo
