Philosophical Ponderings- 8

Philosophical Ponderings- 8

As I listen the world ages around me,

In its tumult of voices, truth is resigned,

I hear In Woe, for fallen are we,

In blood, our fate we have signed.

In truth  there is deliverance,

not quick relief, but hard-won contentment.

no, we cannot see past our own short lives.

what is there if all is in sinful deception?

What could there be to live for in a world of untruths?

why now is it a sin be truthful in society,

what world have we given our children,

what future have we thrust upon them?

no reason is there, none but self-fulfillment,

for truth is for the betterment of others,

from the integrity of self.

here now, is the hour of change,

if we choose to make it so.

Now rises truth if we give it a base to stand upon,

NOW RISE!
