Picaroon
Comes a ship stem and stern
Sails bellow, windswept churn
Jolly Rogers flew high
Eager to plunder passerby
Animated bones, zombie ash
Deadly as cat oβ nine tail lash
Swashbucklers on spectral craft
Accursed upon a timeworn raft
Carnage afloat in a wake
Vultures circle along a break
PickingΒ at scraps of carrion
Fodder of pirate barbarian
Bartering barnacles abed
Scavengers of undead
Waters of a brackish tide
Redemption for savages denied
Mariners forewarn beware
Pirateβs perilous snare
For if by chance board a ship
Crew be bootyΒ for marauderΒ clip

Wow, I love this poem I'd say it's one of my favourites of yours!
You described the scene so well and I just loved the way you said Jolly RogersΒ and not just skull flag or something,
Seriously good work :)
