Picky eater

A picky eater, through and through 
Must I force your jaws to chew
Clean the plate with your tongue 
Leave not a single crumb 
Force it down with your thumb 
There’s much to learn while you’re young 

Once you’ve been a good child 
and licked every side 
and your intestines start to squirm
and wiggle like a worm
swallow this pill
and they´ll go still
better to feel nothing than hurt
now then - who wants dessert?

There there, big kids don’t cry 
It isn’t enough simply to try 
If you don’t like it 
Pretend to 
I used to be just like you 
And spat out my food, too  

But you have to eat to grow big and strong 
Since when is eating others wrong?
Continue like this and you’ll stay a chick
sicken completely and death comes quick

I might forgive you but they will not 
A rotten apple in the pot 
That’s why I serve you my love hot
Without me, you´d surely rot
See, kids who are smothered 
By loving mothers
Are surely but slowly 
murdered

So give up your talk of sensitivity and mercy
When you get older like me, you´ll see
How everything good and pure shrivels the quickest
How in the end, it´s survival of the fittest
How in order to eat, one must slaughter
But surely you knew that, my daughter

This world holds no place for pride
Nor children who are nothing but kind
Picky eaters get left behind
So here comes the airplane - open wide!
