Poor Choices

Poor Choices

Do you ever feel like your parents made poor choices?
See them drink their pain away, pour choices.
Then you grow up to make them same poor choices.
Sometimes I can’t really blame them though. They only played the cards they were dealt.
Guess thats why I’m good at spades. But lately I’ve been feeling like a 2 of hearts.
Don’t know where to start. Wasting million dollar talents on twenty dollar bottles of liquor.
I never asked for sympathy because I know I’m bitter.
Mama didn’t raise no quitter.
