Pregnancy

Pregnancy

From the moment of conception, a woman already knows,
Her body starts to transform, ready for a child that's how it goes,
She starts to feel tired, and sickness in the morning,
Making sure she doesn't notice spotting, for some that is a warning.

A mother's bond starts, right from the first day,
And the love just grows stronger, in every single way,
Watching the little baby grow, bump getting bigger all the time,
The realisation that this is happening, and this baby is mine.

There are some bad points too, to having a watermelon in your belly,
The strange bizarre cravings, peanut butter and raspberry jelly,
The limited positions at night, sleeping in one position for you,
And don't forget when the baby moves, uncomfortable for you too.

What does the baby look like, what sex will it be,
First time mother's want to know, second timers wait and see,
But all this pales in comparison, and it's something not denied,
I am going to be a first time mum, there is someone growing inside.

To me there is nothing more beautiful, then a pregnant wife,
The bundle that she carries, will definitely change your life,
She glows and radiates so wonderful, love now rules her eyes,
But she'll doubt herself sometimes, but the baby adds more ties.

Enjoy the the moment of pregnancy, show her love and your support,
Because in some cases the road is hard, and a battle now well fought,
Tell her that she is beautiful, and love her till the end,
What you will get is a adorable baby, that you've had with your best friend.
