Preschool Farewell.

Preschool Farewell.

This fairy tale is ending but big school will be ok,Ā
on stepping stones you've walked a path with help along the way.
We welcomed you into our hearts with arms held open wide,
and wiped away theĀ  tears that fell when leaving Mommies side.

Your smiles they always lit the room much brighter than the sun,
those early days were special, something new had just begun.
A time to learn and sometimes play we watched you grow and grow,
our guiding hand supporting with the things you didn't know.

So proud we were when watching everything you'd learnt to do,
like spelling out the alphabet to putting on a shoe.
You've climbed a milestone mountain reaching way beyond the top,
forever making memories that we wished would never stop.

So cherished were the fun times that you spent with all your friends,
those very special moments of adventure and pretend.
It's time to close this chapter as you sail away from sure,
you'll be a treasured memory as you step from preschool's door.
