Pretty Little Maisie Mouse

Pretty Little Maisie Mouse

Maisie mouse is such a pretty little thing
She combs her whiskers on her face
While she does so sweetly sing
“Oh butterflys, black birds, buzzy bees, I love nibbling holey cheese” tra la la dee da”
“I live nextdoor to Marcus mole,
My best friend is Victor Vole
We meet each evening In the rusty keyhole tra la la dee da”

They live in the kitchen in Farmer Milllers house
Its a perfect retreat for a country mouse
Its got a tiny front door on the skirting board
Where she hides cheddar cheese that she does hoard

She used to live on the coast in a cottage on a hill
But the roof had a hole where the wind used to chill
So she sneaked in the boot of farmer Millers car
He drove her to the country it wasn’t very far
He had spent the day dining out in the beach combers bar

Maiisies cousin is Rachel Rat
She lives in a closet in the Farmer hat
Its a dangerous place to visit Oh fancy that!!
Coz eyes are watching from the
big black cat
He lies waiting to pounce on the backdoor mat
Maisie scuttles through the corridoors, she does scat
She can never get caught
& that is that !!!

Maisie hasnt got a little family yet
She hasnt met her man mouse
But shes hoping to meet a nice one within this country house

She has heard a man mouse singing from his bedroom up a stair
& Has an invitation for a meal for the two of them to share
She is hoping cupids arrow will make them a perfect choice
Coz they could both sing together in a harmonised voice :)
?❤️?
