PRISONER

PRISONER

Here I sit and wait...

Not too sure for what.

As when I get out of this place,

Out there I'll be a dot.

I'm counting down the hours now,

For my time here is done.

I can't even remember what it feels like in the sun..

Ten years I have spent here

For a crime I did not commit

Why should I go back out there

Where they want me to admit?

Just so they have closure,

Do I say I was wrong?

Are these the words you have wanted to hear for so long?

Okay then I did it.....

But how do I move on?

How can someone live their life when all their pride has gone?
