No sense of security
Needing a thought amnesty
Escaping thoughts cling desperately

Lies and fake news spread dissention
policies are misdirection
Try to grab your short attention
To line their pockets post-election
And who cares if you live or die
Not big brothers watching eye
As numbers have no sympathy
Statistical anomaly 
Wealth feeds wealth and that's how it stays
Drawing close to end of days
Trying not to count the ways
Of politicians evil games
Global rise in fascism divides and conquers many men
The slow death of carpe Diem
Leads to mutually assured destruction
