THE PYRAMID OF ME
Despite the trappings of morality
At the bottom of every mortal’s soul
Lies the bricks of our basic needs
Thirst, hunger, air, shelter, libido
Drinking, eating, breathing, breeding
But overlooked by Abraham Maslow
Every one of these basic needs
