Queen Annabellee

Queen Annabellee

Gale winds blew derisive gust,
Churning waves a titanic thrust.
Clipper Queen Annabellee,
Sails no more, moors silt quarry.

Maties swore to batten-down fear,
To weather murkyΒ pelagian frontier
Sirens known as scourge of sea,
Hardened hearts to sailor's plea

Lifespan or so, Queen Annabellee,
Elude watery assassin, briny sea.
Hailed as unsinkable, fearless ship,
Surrender reigning decade trip.

Spoils aboard Queen Annabellee,
Devoured whole via ravenous sea.
Adventurers had been forewarned,
Rape of sea, formidable when scorned

Assured stern scoff mighty gale,
Venture forward, indeed set-sail.
Fickle sea by impetuous wrath,
Ultimately sank her, in well-sailed path.
A lesson for those like Queen Annabellee,
None shall mock vengeance of sea.
