Quiet Chaos

Light a cigarette while the birds sing.
Background noise of a car alarm ring.
Lost my keys and marbles on the same day.
What else will this sunrise bring?

Earlier morning but I'm heading to bed.
No hope, thoughts or prayers to be said.
Oddly, nonchalantly,
I place my pillow, where I lay my head.

Something unsettlingly changed.
Barely noticeable, the way my day was arranged.
Nothing could move my mood.
So this nothingness, was strange.

A reason why prayers go unheard

The absence of acceptance.

Thought provoking, thanks sweetheart

Much love nardine xo.

Hi Shate,

Twelve "short" lines, so "long" on depth.  Lots of gentle chaos, lots to think about.  I liked it a lot.

Peace and Love,

xox Larry
