Quiet Pool

pale blue silk rippling gently

a mirror reflecting the clouds

hiding the depths down below

all drifting behind a shrouds

lapping against the land`s edge

an almost silent splash is heard

increasing circles across the water

this moving fluid that's stirred

as the sun brushes the surface

leaving patterns for me to see

with the shadows moving slowly

creating such tranquility
