Rabbie burns

Scotland's patron of music and rhyme 
He will always stand the test of time 
He gave others inspiration 
And is known around the nation

Fae the way he wrote his words in rhyme 
To the songs he sung were so sublime 
People remember auld Lang syne the best 
But scots will remember all the rest 

A great man and bard was Rabbie burns 
And I think through the pages of his poems he returns 
As i pour my whisky glass to the brim 
I eat my haggis neeps and tatties and toast to him
