Rainbow Road Trip

Rainbow Road Trip

Colors explode at every turn like a bursting kaleidoscope.

Ruby RED roses line a neighbor's fence, a stark contrast against the pale sky, like deep lipstick on a fair-skinned face.

Just down the street, striped ORANGE tiger lilies brighten the landscape, curving upward, reaching for the sun.

Flashy YELLOW marigolds protect a garden's new growth, standing watch like soldiers defending their country.

Outside of the city limits, thick GREEN clover blankets the ground, simple beauty often going unnoticed.

Alongside a farmhouse sits a plush hydrangea bush, gorgeous full BLUE clusters like wedding bouquets primed for picking.

Off to the right & up ahead, a brilliant INDIGO bunting perches on a fence, watching silently as we approach, a royal splash of vibrance.

A few more miles brings us to delicate VIOLET irises, always a reminder of my youth, the breeze fluttering their petals like a welcoming wave to passers by.

Nature's canvas, a colorful sight to behold...a traveling story to unfold...creating new memories to be told.

Thank you, sparrowsong!  So often the beauty around us goes unnoticed or is underappreciated as we zip here and there amidst busy schedules...  As much as I love nature, this happens to me, too!  Appreciate the feedback!*!*!
