Poem -

The rat

The captain on vessel

The seas so unkind

The waves they are torturous

Good men left behind

Shores carry like beacons

Crying wives birthing grief

Remembering lost men

But my sleep brings no peace

The darkness down under

What lies in the sea

Will soon be a grave

For a man such as me

No one to morn me

No one to care

The ship is my doom

But proof I was there
