Realised dreams

I'll soon be traveling to a wonderful place,

The most beautiful spot, Upon the world's face.

With glaciers, mountains and beaches of gold,

I need to go now Before I'm too old.

New Zealand's the place where I will be,

 It's outstanding beauty laid out for me.

With all the places to go and wonders to see,

I'm so Incredibly lucky It's now happening for me,

It's been the place of my dreams for a lifetime spent,

As I stayed at home While other people went.

Now It's reality, I'll soon be there,

The cost was quite great, But I really don't care.

The dream of a lifetime soon to be fulfilled,

As the time approaches, My excitement builds.

Just a few more week's and I'll be on the plane,

I'd love to go and not come back again.

But with my family at home, I'll need to return,

Being apart from my grandchildren would make my heart yearn.
