There’s nothing like, that of the original, first of its kind,

Holds, number #1 place in line.

Proto-type, for the crowd they seek, perfection to be sought,

All flaws found, to be tweaked.

You’re the pride and joy, with no question to be asked,

You’re the seal of approval, the perfect toy.

Yet there is a new kid on the block, known to be new and improved,

claiming to replace your shoes and sock.

What adventures has he in store, when confronted with the entrance,

 he intends to open, has a steel door.

What audience has he to entrust, he’s gone and latched on to the notion,

of achieving it, are bust.

With a little time in hand, nothing comes easy, his task and goal,

 is to prove it to next man.

Support not to be known, strikes to he, all relevant, when placed at bat,

He’s forced, to bring it all home.

Some seem to say, your image stands alone, with the original nowhere in sight,

the joy to, is all gone.

What big shoes, have you to fill, it won’t come that easy, to attempt to,

close, the raw deal.

For the glory that you seek, will surely be their pain, what length will you have reached,

to achieve this golden gain.

Though on the other hand, what price would it have cost, to have entered this rat race

and apparently had lost.

Just as all things in life, these are the chances you will take, when you attempt to fix,

that which has no break.

*The morrow to this story is, sometimes the new, becomes the (discarded) new old,

(Faster), than the original, which is now, (accepted) as the brand new.
