Ride The Ferris Wheel Of Time

Invented by a farming boy, from a small town rural area
He made an amusement machine, that more than thousands of people enjoyed
They rode it at the World's Fair in Chicago, the wonders of the world
The most high machine that anyone had ever seen, and they could see the sights
The bright lights, the gay and happy fans, the laughter in the breeze
The fun filled days and nights, the tourists, the money, the white city of pride
And the end would come to the shining night, the brilliant mechanics would come to a hault
It could withstand the storms, the winds, the cold, and the mass of people
Would remember the man who could bring a smile to our faces, show off the places
Of the white city, that became black with the flames, and withered away
But to ride the Ferris Wheel created by George, will be a gift forever, forever of time
