Menace of indomitable sea
Pirate scourge e’er shall be
Surly beauty, Rogue Rose
Prickly tis she no man can oppose

Saber in hand absconded booty
Plunder entitled a solemn duty
Brackish waters illusive escape
Nimble ship assail seascape

No naval vessel fast as she
Canvas abillow by salty sea
Ignoble maid utmost brave
Corrival fated to watery grave

One bone-sodden day
On squall of steely gray
More fickle than briny lass
