"Run Along devil"

"For You Lord,
I shall be still,
and allow myself,
to feel what I feel,
because that's how,
to really heal,
from the pain and anguish,
I feel in my brain.

The devil tries,
to haunt and taunt me,
with lust and drugs,
but one is too many,
and a thousand is never enough,
so I put my faith,
in what resides up above,
for He is Love,
Jesus is Grace,
and I know following Him,
will never be a mistake.

I've reached out,
and grasped hands,
with someone,
who will always love me,
always understand,
and Lord,
I know this is all part of Your Plan,
to design,
a spiritual fighter,
whose feet,
walk so much lighter,
without all those burdens,
bearing down,
and even if in this neighborhood,
the enemies surround,
and try to get me,
to answer my front door,
I now know finally,
what their drugs,
are for.

They are for my toilet,
flushed down it's drain!
Because they never really,
helped stop my pain.
You did,
The One Who Forgives,
all the awful,
things I've done,
and I can safely say,
that The Good won,
I've taken my side,
and with Your Truth,
I see through,
the devil,
and all his little lies.

So run and hide devil!
Jesus has taken me,
to another level,
and His Friendship,
I will never betray,
So run along devil,
you best get out of our way!"
