Running Free

Running Free

In the forrests of our lands and the hills of mountains

We run, we run free, let us be, for we own this land

Our native ancesters gave birth to it, we were their guide

Four legged creatures, our minds and bodies differ but the same pride

Let our eyes be the night, our love be the howl in the mood of the moon

Our pups grow up to be strong and never give in to white men

Our native lands live for us, as we live from them, our nature calls us

With the cool of the night our breath seen in the moonlight as we call

Call to our friend our Cherokee who stands, stand tall by their side

Let freedom be in our souls running free with loves devine finest empathy
