ABOUT POETESS VALERIE LYNN

Valerie Lynn is a special poetess to me. She loves to write poems even when she is in her bed, while being terribly sick and resting in the hospital. This is what I appreciate in her, Like our Poet Tony Taylor, She laughs at her sick life and compose poems on love and life. It took 16 years to show her writings to her family and close friends. With their support they convinced her to start sharing her poetic works to the outside world. So here she is with me as a little sister poetess, co-writing a Haiku poem.

She is currently undergoing treatment at different hospitals and still fighting against her Life Threatening Illnesses that continue to plague her valuable life. She regrets sometimes for  her precious life had been taken away from an  ambitious and happy person she  used to be - Chronic Lyme Disease, Pseudotumor Cerebri and  Organic Brain Syndrome.

According to Poetess Valerie Lynn : " To most I'm sure my health may not seem so bad but on top of those few diagnoses I chose to bring awareness to - living with five additional illnesses on top of what I listed already is a major challenge every single day. I explained this in a little more detail in my story called Lyme disease is Killing Me. It is on the last page of my poetry. Only my family and close friends know how much I have changed from having to learn to cope with my new way of life. I try to remain positive but some days I am close to giving up. Thank you for those who truly know me and who have helped me through the most difficult fight for my life. My initial Goal for THE REST OF 2014 is to stay out of the hospital. I truly appreciate each and every one of you who actually took the time to read my writing. I cannot begin to express how much that means to me. From the bottom of my heart..." – This is an Extract from her COSMO profile.
