Seven Deadly Sins

Only seven sins left now, Babylon or bust,
mustn't look too hard, otherwise accused of lust,
only six sins left now, remember to laugh,
count your blessings after reading 'Grapes of Wrath.'

Only five sins left now, those tablets spread wide,
remember to climb down a bit, just lower your pride,
only four sins left now, intolerant it seems to me,
stay away from the fridge, you're guilty of gluttony.

Then there were just three, I'm changing the list,
don't forget the time when you fell over - pissed,
down to two, all this messing about with Europe,
has give us all an incredible lack of any hope.

Finally, we must apportion things so they say,
loss of memory, when I forgot your bloody birthday.
