SEVERANCE

SEVERANCE

Such wisdom once tangible
Hence severance parted the way
Lured by conviction
He felt no need to stay

A misconceiving vortex
Dulled an eager mind
Drawn in black and white
No colour could he find

Powerless..or so he thought
Proceeding down this route
Unable to grasp the walls
Knowledge burdened his pursuit

Left with but two choices
Captive to tunnel vision
A life he knew better than that
Only ending in submission

Undeniable changes
Would pave his way erect
Intelligence crept it's way back in....
And in an instance took effect....

Thanks guys..

In all honesty my inspiration is all over the place tonight...lol

But I admit with this write I guess I inspired myself..

If I feel I'm not up to scratch in knowledge I chase it..

And I will always find it :) x

An exquisite write Carey and really insightful into tunnel vision.I know that's the hardest phase in life as I remember  an old lady where I work,RIP,she had retinal detachment .She was an independent woman ending in depression and assistance of two.I have seen her anxiety, denial  even her seeing Angels ,light at the side of her peripheral vision,Halos...Its really awful to see people ending in these type of  inevitable traps of destiny.

Love each line of write Carey, really inspirational dear.
