Shadows of Loneliness

Dark, sulking in sin, in an abdoned life, the doom of an empty room, depressed

Shadows are moving in and around me, they are laughing, and grinning in pitty

Loneliness has my mind, it has taken my soul, it wants no one, it has no room inside

I hide behind this smile, behind my blue eyes, lonely, the shadows are my demons

Trying to get in, hoovering over me, sitting next to me, and blinding my heart

Shadows of loneliness, is what I know best, until they are gone I never will rest
