She Carried My Sin

She Carried My Sin

Your children will carry your sins.
I was told.
My sin was her curse & my consequence.
I watched her fear & confusion.
She was different & she knew it.
Paranoid others could see what she was hiding.
Discising, acting a part.
But I saw her.
That was my consequence.
I cried &  begged for my sin to return to me.
She had a mind like no other.
She had little fear & extreme strength.
Her thoughts were dark but her soul was bright.
She knew, felt & loved a GOD that was never taught.
She believed her way & cared for many.
WHY HER?! WHY?!
She lived in a world full of illusions & voices.
Voices with no faces.
She couldn't ignore them.
She carried my sin.
A sin that he wouldn't forgive.
A sin I couldn't make go away.
I watched her fear & confusion.
She told my truths.
She told my worthlessness.

A War of Roses

Things are already broken.
More shattered by the words that weren't even spoken.
The poison...
