Oh come now child born of the sky

Spread your wings and learn how to fly

The earth it holds nothing to gather your favor

You’re scared to fall, I thought you much braver

Now climb to the highest you ever have reached

Listen to the world as nature preached

Let the wind take you and gather your soul

You will soon learn that the sky is your home

Granted you might have a few tumble

But that my child will just make you humble

You are destined for many great things

A servant too many world’s great kings

It seems in my hast to watch you take flight

I have been damaged by my own spite

This family which raised you is not your own

And while you’re from the sky, the earth is our home

A burden no more, we wish not to be

Look to the sky and say what you see

Travel the distance, go where you go

But never forget what I taught you to know
