SLAVA. UKRAINI
Running out of tears
so many questions marks
hidden away
against yellow and blue skies
history on its pathway
watching screams through media scenesΒ
while outside doves pretend to die
snowdome shaken
while the world settled down
starving in freedom
beaten by tyrannyβs crown
Sunflowers grow in the pockets of invading stormsΒ
suited blisters burst in courts
as freedoms corpse
ascends
hearts measured in Burnt out tearsΒ
costumes lie on unmade beds
birthdays beneath soil instead
crimson lakes form in line
