Sleep has gone

I lay awake all through the night
with you sleep by my side
I close my eyes and it begins
My fears my pain start to sing

It does not stop it does not ease
It makes me drop onto my knees
The noise gets loud and takes control
The world's locked out of my black hole

I will not snap out I will not leave
I'm stuck like this eternally
The light it fades farther away
In this dark I know I'll pray

My life has gone my mind is broken
Those piercing eyes so softly open
I can't feel anything inside
This prison cell that is my mind

Anxiety can be so painfull to me
It's as though I'm broke internally
I can not speak my words out loud
