SNAIL'S PACE FOR ME

I am living my life at a snail's pace
Know for certain I won't win any race
Most people would think me incredibly slow
I think to myself what do they know

Get out of my bed with half the day gone
Life for me is more like a marathon
No rush to put some food on a plate
I'll eat when I want and am prepared to wait

At the moment I'm reading a fascinating book
Has nearly a thousand pages is just my luck
There's no need to hurry to finish this tale
After all my friend I live life of a snail

Lovely Kieran, indeed life isn’t a sprint, it’s a marathon, and we can do those at our own pace. Nice write
