Snow

Snow

In the deep silence
down  the vale
and its halo of stars
the cold moon shines bright,
crystal stars fall
dusting the earth in
brilliant Pole Star white

The morning star sparkles
through the hazy cold cloud sky,
the dreaming trees wear their calm glow
adorned in sunlit shards of ice

A world of shadows bathes
in the immortal kiss of memories,
and the gentle kiss of
silent peace and light.

Hi Lorna, hope you are well. Thank you for your very kind comment, much appreciated. Great to hear it´s just starting to snow where you are, unfortunately it doesn´t rain much where I am let alone snow, so I have to use my imagination! :) Thank you! x
