As the Snow Flies

Forests filled with great tall trees of wisdom and strength they stand naked

Covered by the white sheets and coats of sparkling snow as it flies it lands upon them and gives warmth

Across the mountains and the valleys below the antelope move slowly through the drifts

The train will be arriving soon for my love will be visiting from afar I bring him near

To my heart filled with every precious moment I will bring him to this place of winter

Love and lust, passion, from every tree top branch and limb I give you myself

As the snow flies it drives me to the purest longings for you by my side we too will fly

Into the next song, the next day, the next month, the next year unto eternity

As the snow flies I wait for you in the horizon of the awaiting sunshine as it too brightens our lives
