Snow on the Mountain

Snow on the Mountain

I hear the fiddles playing and the drummers drumming as they dance
in celebration in spirit in song through the echoes caverns of the mountainous rockies
sounds of the mountains where banjos strum and mandolins find the way to our hearts while it snows
whistling winds blow through the valleys below and the wild of the horse gallops slowly in  driven snow drifting
Alive the song breaks the wind and the eagle soars across the sky
large herds of elk make their way in jingle sway
music as the snow flakes swirl the sky in circles of play
where love has entered the spirits of Christmas past where snow on the mountains beauty
shall sing songs of of a child born to be crowned king some day
