So Silently

So silently wandering,  lonely in town,

Eyes always lowered, deep set heavy frown.

Almost see through, feeling invisible.

From a distance, seeming miserable.

Longing to ask, is she ok?

Refusing all help in anyway.

Hiding, under cover of the shadow,

Fearing, next blow to be bestowed.

Once she was ,a friend you thought,

Then, about him, you fought.

You tried to demand her freedom

On empty ears, it falls without reason.

She says her love is forever glued,

Her fleeting life, to his servitude.

How can you ease her pain,

When she's never to look your way again?

Keep watch on her from a distance

In time, she may ask for assistance.
