Something Between I and U

My answer is “I love those letters because they are between you and I”.
Here is my newly penned sonnet for fun to cheer up whoever reads it.

How do I convince thee there's love between me (I) and thee (U)?
From letters to words to stories, this makes literature grow
and read this made-up one with words from the letters J-T below:

Thy 'jorts' were ripped when the door closed with a 'jolt'
Some 'knots' were broken, and 'knops' dropped on the floor
but thou since have felt a 'lot' 'lorn' and seemingly 'lost'

For happiness, try to be a 'monk' in 'mosk', at least in the 'morn'
a routine of 'norm', but 'not' staring at alluring 'norks' when walking along
'or' go and study 'orlops', 'oonts' or even 'olms' if thou are 'ok' to get 'on'
Please 'post' some videos back, be 'prompt', preferring 'prom' to 'porn'

No Q will be asked as no word can be made out of the set of letters in dictionary
Hope thou type my words in the 'ROM' of thy brain, and thou can 'romp' easily
'so' this will 'soon' 'sort' out thy loneliness, and finally
Only thy shorts were 'torn', nothing like being in 'tronk' or eating 'torsks" day after day
