Sparks Will Fly

Sparks Will Fly

To know you beautiful and deep,

With a rainbow just outside,

I saw you last night in a restless sleep,

A pot of gold on the other side.

The flighty little bird in me,

The one that whispers in my ear,

Has been scolded and told to wait and see,

Instead of taking to flight in fear.

I wish now to comfort your own little sparrow,

Who's heart was thrown under a bus,

That there's nothing sweeter than Cupids arrow,

And the sparks of passion that will ignite us.
