Sing to me your song for the day, so bright I awaken

To the splendor of your heart, it makes me feel so alive

Sparrow from my window I look out into your world and applaud

I applaud you for your presence, your small and yet vigorous energy

Awaiting me each morning through the window of my mind, I hear you

I hear you calling, inviting me into your world, as this world belongs to us

No one sparrow could find his way without a human hand to touch its feed

As I look upon your small structure, with every feather in place so defined

I pray for you as I watch you, while you watch me, let our grateful being

Be met, and serenade into the heavens of life with you by my side
