Starved

Starved

I binged on truth
Was served too much
For my curiosity
Hate
Goes to no greater length
To deplete my strength
Than sour honesty.
I’m anorexic now
But I’m happy!
I lap any lie that appeals to my
Sentimentality.
Skinny loves die so young
Mourn the old time ilk
But that's some muck
I can’t stomach,
It’s truth in itself.
